PostScapes – Tracking the Internet of Things, an initiative focusing on the convergence of the physical world with the digital, has compiled a list of 100 people influencing the topic on a daily basis whether through their talks, writings or through their own companies.
The list is based on a number of factors including:
- Number of votes in a public poll (5800+ votes submitted)
- How much of a public presence the person has (ie how active their blog is, public speaking, etc
- PageRank
- RSS readers (feeds are added for each listing)
- Twitter account activity
- and still a bit of subjectivity (so don’t get too hung up on the actual rankings)
