The Cyprus University of Technology in the framework of IKTIMED project, organized last week a workshop in Limassol concerning Smart Specialization and how European regions can implement the nature and rationale of this policy determining priorities in terms of R&D & technological activities.
Professor Dominique Foray, Vice President of the “Knowledge for Growth’ expert group for the EC, presented to the Cypriot and international audience the concept and the principles of this policy while Dr. Antonis Theocharous presented the first Smart Specialisation Guide in the Greek language, titled: Smart Specialisation as a Tool of Regional Development’.
