“Connecting Smart and Sustainable Growth through Smart Specialisation” is a guide in a series of guides prepared in the framework of the Smart Specialisation Platform set up by the European Commission. It is not an academic publication but a practical document with concrete recommendations and examples of good practice that show potential ways forward and to facilitate discussion between public authorities and stakeholders.
The Guide was developed by Technopolis Group Brussels under coordination of Alasdair Reid and commissioned by DG Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission under the supervision of Mikel Landabaso, Head of Unit.
