IBM has created a platform aiming to gather insights and smart ideas that can drive the betterment of cities. “People for Smarter Cities” online community enables visitors to share insights and express opinions with a globally distributed group of city officials, researchers, academics and citizens.
The platform will also be populated with stories that should also be ironic, innovative, unusual, fun, cool or of something just plain as soon as useful for the society. Topics to be covered include environment, sustainability, education, healthcare, energy & water, public safety, government, buildings and transportation perspectives.
