This report, produced by Hypercat, is one of the outcomes out of thirty-seven workshops across six domains bringing together over 300 experts from a wide range of industries, academia and government. These workshops were used to crowdsource information and captured a wealth of information on how existing and future technologies, digital systems and/or other smart city solutions and approaches could transform Old Oak & Park Royal into a global leading location where people would want to live, work and visit.
The six workshop domains were:

- Clean and green environment
- People centric cities and community services
- Smart utilities infrastructure
- Safe and smart transport
- Smart energy
This document is an interim report of the Smart Strategy developed to inform the draft OPDC Local Plan and, according to the authors, should be read alongside the Smart London Plan and the draft Local Plan. This report sets out a recommended smart vision and objectives, supported by a series of identified key elements, opportunities, challenges and potential use cases for key themes and provides recommendations for the draft Local Plan policy.
