Microsoft has created an interactive presentation of company’s CityNext strategy, a partner-led initiative that aims to empower cities to be more sustainable, prosperous, and economically competitive’”with a simplified approach.
CityNext helps cities unlock their potential by delivering innovative digital services that can help citizens lead safer, healthier, and more educated lives. Cities can tap into the solution portfolios of Microsoft and its partners and innovate at their own pace, deploying real-time solutions that can interoperate with and improve upon existing IT investments. These transform their operations and infrastructures; engage citizens and businesses; and accelerate their economic development and environmental sustainability.
In the video below, Microsoft’s Ellen Wilson touches upon three different ways in which the CityNext approach is seeing local and regional authorities empowering the individuals that make up communities to better access and utilise services that are of a higher standard and efficiency than ever before.
