Whether you are an experienced researcher or a policymaker seeking inspiration for new ideas, the Innovation Growth Lab (IGL) has developed a toolkit to show how adopting an experimental approach can be used to make policies more effective by successfully designing and delivering trials. Practicioners can use the toolkit as a step-by-step guide to the development and implementation of randomised controlled trials (RCTs).
Launched to coincide with IGL’s Global Conference in Barcelona, Spain, the toolkit also contains tips on how to assess topic suitability and trial feasibility, and gives practical advice on measurement and evaluation. Also featured is the IGL Database, which shares evidence from 70 innovation and business support trials taking place worldwide.
