The Anglia Ruskin University, School of Engineering and the Built Environment at Chelmsford UK opened a position for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow who will work with my colleague Prof. Maria Vogiatzaki.
The position is for a candidate with a profound grasp of AI and machine learning that will allow for the use of unstructured data to inform design decisions concerning more resilient communities.
With a PhD or near completion or other postgraduate research qualification (e.g. MRes, MPhil), candidates would have expertise in software development and programming in one or more of the following domains: machine learning; data management and processing, data mining, deep learning; decision-making algorithms or development of applications of cyber-physical systems employing AI in spatial interventions, and a good understanding of the role of the creative practice of design in the process of social change and resilience in communities and cities.
