CITYxCITY Festival will take place digitally from the 13th until the 15th of January 2021. It is the first edition of an annual event organised by Open & Agile Smart Cities (OASC). The festival brings global change makers to discuss the latest insights about digital urban transformation.
CITYxCITY Festival is the continuation of the annual Connected Smart Cities & Communities Conference organised by OASC during the previous decade. The organisers’ intention with this shift is to amplify the impact on society.
The schedule of the festival includes discussions and presentations on community empowerment, intra-city collaborations, sustainable digital transformation, urban platforms, resilient cities and communities, urban data, AI, Smart City Policies and Rural Smart Communities among others. The presentations open discussions on a diversity of local contexts.
“Our annual Connected Smart Cities and Communities Conference is re-branding and re-inventing itself as the CITYxCITY Festival. It’ s a completely free, all-digital festival with the same high level of speakers and participants who are changing the world city by city, community by community, and citizen by citizen.’ Davor Meersman, CEO of Open & Agile Smart Cities
The goal of the organisation is to guide cities and communities in their digital transformation. CITYxCITY is an invitation to innovate and collaborate towards a smarter society through the exchange of ideas and community empowerment.
The registration to the conference is open.
