Regional Innovation Scoreboard 2017

The Regional Innovation Scoreboard (RIS) is a regional extension of the European Innovation Scoreboard, assessing the innovation performance of European regions on a limited number of indicators. The RIS 2017 covers 220 regions across 22 EU countries, Norway, Serbia, and Switzerland. In addition, Cyprus, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and Malta are included at country level.

Open Data Initiatives in medium-sized European cities

This report by the European Data Portal, investigates the Open Data Initiatives in eight medium-sized European cities: Dublin, Florence, Gdansk, Ghent, Helsinki, Thessaloniki and Vilnius.  Overall, this report shows that not only Europe’ s most prominent cities like Barcelona and Paris – as featured in a previous report of the same entity – are maturing on their Open Data journey, but that also medium-sized cities are taking bold steps on their Open Data journey.

The State of European Cities Report, 2016
